  The Perfect Man

Okay, now in all honesty the only reason I went to see the movie was because Hilary Duff was in it.  However, I ended up liking the movie so much that I ended up going back to the theater 5 times over the course of the summer to see this movie!  Yeah, okay, so it was mainly because Hilary Duff was in the movie.  Well, actually, that was the only reason I went to see the movie that many times.

Hilary was cute and adorable as usual, and words cannot begin to describe how she looked in that red dress.  Hilary Duff plays the part of Holly.  Holly decides that her Mom needs a little help in choosing the right man, so she makes up an imaginary "Perfect Man" for her mom.  As can be expected, this leads to many "little white lies" and a big mess that was created by all the deception in keeping up the illusion of this "Perfect Man."  However, Holly is runs into a little romance herself when she encounters a certain boy while she is on her quest of fooling her mom into not making the wrong choice with the wrong man.

Heather Locklear was perfect as Jean Hamilton, the desperate mother of two, who was constantly looking and failing to find the right man.  Chris North did a great job of portraying the Perfect Man, and the serious business man running the River Bistro.  Aria Wallace and Vanessa Lengies were great choices for support characters as Holly's younger sister and Holly's new best friend.  Vanessa's Brooklyn accent was absolutely adorable.

If really you want to know what happens and how everything turns out duh, you need to go buy the movie!  I'm not going to spoil the ending just because some of you are too cheap to go buy the movie.  However, I will reassure you that it is a good ending and will be enjoyed by any Hilary Duff fan.  The material of the movie stays pretty "safe" because after all, this is a Hilary Duff movie.  So, this is definitely a kid friendly movie that you can let your kids watch.  Don't go waste any more time, hurry out and buy a copy of DVD now available in stores!  Well, okay, if you really are really cheap, you can go rent it first, but just hurry up and go see the movie if you haven't already!
